| Other than punch, basic food preparation cannot be done on-site.
Our facilities do not include a cooking range. An oven and two microwaves are
available for warm-ups. Limited refrigerator space is available. At the
present time, we now not have an ice machine, so you will need to bring bagged ice. Candles need to be either metal, or enclosed in hurricane globes.
Votive candles should not have the flame over the top of the glass container. If a
chafing dish should ignite, there are fire extinguishers in each room.
Please... no plastic confetti sprinkles for decorations.
You are expected to provide your own paper towels, dish towels, dish
clothes, dish detergent, table cloths, and trash bags. Please ask before using our
kitchen utensils, cookware, or dishes.
In the interests of our environment, caterers are asked to use
non-disposable plates, cups, glasses, and eating utensils. We do not have a dumpster
available for throwaways, but we will provide containers for recyclable aluminum cans and
plastic bottles. If you choose to use all throwaway items, you will need to plan for
taking the trash with you.
We have 60 chairs, six 6' tables, and two 8' rectangular tables.
You are expected to set up and take down any tables you use, as well as store them,
and stack the chairs at the end of your event. If you choose to move furniture,
please remember to move it back. The sideboard cannot be moved.
If you elect to use the gazebo for food service, there is an
overhead fan that helps repel insects. |
