Buchanan Log House

Buchanan Log House is 'living history' of Donelson and Nashville, and has played this role for more than two hundred years. It is a family's history, architectural history, and archeological history.

 

Our mission remains making this rich heritage vibrant, engaging, and accessible to residents and visitors alike. We do this through free tours, public events, learning programs, and offering meeting space. Future plans include hands-on programs, and planning for an 1810 kitchen herb-medicinal garden.

 

We invite you, your family, and your office to become active Buchanan Log House supporters. Visitors, volunteers, and ideas are always welcome!

Buchanan Log House is owned by the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities -- and your membership is in the Buchanan Log House Chapter. Your membership card allows FREE admission to ALL APTA properties across Tennessee.
